What’s New in Walshland

I had such a fantastic summer! Here I am kayaking on the Susquehanna with friends.

My Lizzy is engaged. The next few months will be busy with preparations for the bridal shower and wedding. Liam is such a sweet, hardworking young man. We are happy for them!

I love being a teacher! I love it that every year is a fresh start, and I get to meet more 10 and 11-year-olds. One of my favorite things is setting up my classroom for the new school year. Here it is!

Another wonderful outing in August was our time on tandem bikes on a railroad track in Hawley, PA. What fun and beauty!

We spent a few days with my parents in Kentucky at the beginning of August. My mom has had the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum at the top of her bucket list for about a decade. It was great to see her enjoying every moment. I loved so many things about both places — especially the live music, beautiful gardens, and artistry. It’s inspiring to see how someone was willing to risk all to follow God’s calling. (Both Noah and the founder of these places!)

I spent many, many hours writing and editing the book that is releasing this Friday—The Singer’s Calling. Click on the link to find out more about it.
