Writing from Walsh Mountain

Congratulations to Maria VanFleet and Susan Roskos

Here are the lovely photos that Maria took:

Find a Storybook Autumn

Photograph a place that looks as though it belongs on the cover of an autumn novel.

Judge a Book by Its Cover

Find a book with an autumn-colored cover—red, orange, gold, brown, or deep green.

The Cozy Chapter

Take a picture of your current book beside something cozy: tea, coffee, a blanket, fireplace, fuzzy socks, etc.

A Story Waiting to Happen

Photograph an old or unusual object and imagine that it holds a secret. Bonus fun: give its imaginary story a title.

Once Upon a Hometown

Find an old building, historic place, cemetery, church, bridge, train station, or other local spot that makes you wonder, What happened here?

Pass the Story Along

Visit a Little Free Library, used bookstore, library, or book exchange. Photograph your discovery—or leave a book for someone else.
