My brain is a jumble of genres, collections, projects, interests… I used to compare myself to other people with so-called “normal brains” who stick to one interest and master it — and I’d try to be more like them.
But I’ve come to realize that God created all sorts of characters. He made me to be the sort of person who enjoys a multitude of projects at one time — which means that I have more room for error and sometimes spread myself too thin. However, my Heavenly Father also seems to have given me more than enough energy to get them all accomplished. (Mostly.)
When you think about it, ADHD is a metaphor of real life — a mixed bag of blessings and challenges. It can be harnessed into a strength, but at times drives us and those in our lives a little nutty.
Hence, I’ve dabbled in so many different styles, genres, voices… I enjoy so many different tropes and time periods. And I love writing them all! My writing adventure has been so much fun! Here are the genres I’ve attempted so far. Click on the graphics to learn more about my books.
