Crow’s Nest Chronicles: Adaleigh’s Secret, Danger, and Romance at Water’s Edge: A Morning at Character Cafe with Adaleigh
Welcome to Character Cafe, Adaleigh. I’m thrilled to have the heroine of Confessions to a Stranger here for tea and a treat. Your author, Danielle Grandinetti is amazing, both as a wordsmith and a woman of God. I’m thrilled to be working with her in a multi-author series — Our House on Sycamore Street. Thank…

A Morning at Character Cafe with Faith from Rocky Mountain Journey
Good morning, Faith. Welcome to Character Cafe! I am so excited to have you here today since your novel contains one of my favorite tropes — woman disguised as man. Tell us why you had to become “Frank” for a time. My sisters and I made a promise to my father that we’d return a…

And, we’ve even taken our 5th-grade students to visit Amish country in the past. The nearest Amish community to me is Cherry Grove, Kentucky. But I…

A Morning at Character Cafe — with FBI Agent Tiberius Granger
Good morning… Or should I say “Creepy morning…” since we have a Jessica R. Patch character in the house. Hey! Just because I am an agent from the Strange Crimes Unit, doesn’t mean that this morning has to be creepy. Though, I guess since we’re in the middle of a case involving dead girls covered…

Character Cafe Welcomes Tempia of Overflow with Hope
Welcome to Character Cafe, Tempia. It’s nice to meet you, but I have to be honest…This is a hard interview for me because there are far too many real-life couples stuck with toxic relationships. How did you get trapped? How did you end up with Quince — when it seemed so obvious that Cory was…

A Novel Museum — Voices in the Sanitorium
A Glimpse of the Voices in the Sanitorium Mini-Museum Though the 2009 components of my novel are fictional, as far as characters and some of the settings, the diary excerpts from 1931 are based on actual characters I “met” through interviews with relatives, photographs donated to me, trips to local historical societies, and hours reading…

Random Questions
What’s the most fun way to exercise? I have fond memories of hiking last spring when nature was singing with blooming trees, daffodils, and fire bushes. One day, I was listening to Jessica R. Patch’s A Cry in the Dark via my earbuds when I passed a wooded area with the ruins of an abandoned…
